1. Introduction

Welcome to Syllasphere: Daily Word Game ("Syllasphere", "the App", "we", "us", or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App and the third-party services built into it collect, how that information is used and shared, and the choices you have.

By downloading or using the App, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with it, please do not use the App.

2. Summary

  • You can play Syllasphere without creating an account and without giving us your name, email address or phone number.
  • The App contains ads, served by Google AdMob. Google AdMob collects and shares certain device and usage data to show ads, measure ads and prevent fraud.
  • We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand how the App is used and to fix crashes.
  • We do not sell your personal information.
  • You can reset or delete your Android advertising ID and opt out of personalized ads in your device settings.

3. Information We Collect

3.1 Information you provide

The App does not ask you to register or provide personal details to play. If you contact us for support, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your email address, your name (if you give it), your device or app version, and the details of your issue. We use this only to respond to you.

3.2 Game data stored on your device

The App stores gameplay data locally on your device, such as game progress, levels completed, scores, coins and rewards, bonus words, hints used, and your settings and preferences. This data stays on your device and is removed when you clear the App's data or uninstall the App. We do not keep a copy of it on our own servers.

3.3 Information collected automatically by third-party services

The App includes the third-party services described in Section 5. These services automatically collect the following categories of information from your device:

Data Details Purposes
Device and account identifiers Android advertising ID, app set ID, and similar app or device identifiers Advertising, analytics, fraud prevention
IP address and approximate location Your IP address, which may be used to estimate your general (not precise) location Advertising, fraud prevention, security

We do not intentionally collect your precise location, contacts, photos, files, microphone or camera data, or other sensitive personal information.

4. Advertising

Syllasphere is free to play and is supported by advertising. Ads are provided by Google AdMob. When an ad is requested or shown, AdMob and its ad partners may collect and share the data listed in Section 3.3 (including your advertising ID, IP address, and ad interaction data) with Google and, depending on the ads shown, with advertisers and ad partners.

This data is used to:

  • Select and display ads, which may be personalized where permitted
  • Measure how ads perform
  • Detect and prevent fraud and invalid activity
  • Provide advertising-related analytics and reporting

Data collected by Google through AdMob is handled under Google's privacy practices. See Google's Privacy Policy and How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services.

Your advertising choices

  • Android advertising ID: you can reset it or delete it, and opt out of ads personalization, in your device settings (usually Settings > Privacy > Ads or Settings > Google > Ads; the path varies by device).
  • Consent: where required by law (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and certain other regions), the App shows a consent message before serving personalized ads. You can change your choice at any time where the App provides a privacy settings option, or by contacting us.
  • Google ad settings: you can also manage your personalization settings at adssettings.google.com.

If you opt out of personalized ads, you will still see ads, but they will be less relevant to you.

5. Third-Party Services Used in the App

The App uses the following third-party services:

These providers act under their own privacy policies and may collect information as described in Section 3.3. We encourage you to review their policies.

6. How We Use Information

We and our service providers use the information described above to:

  • Provide, operate and maintain the game
  • Display advertisements and keep the App free
  • Understand how the App is used and improve gameplay and features
  • Detect, diagnose and fix crashes and technical problems
  • Protect against fraud, abuse and security threats
  • Respond to support requests
  • Comply with applicable laws

We do not sell your personal information. Data shared with Google through AdMob and Firebase is shared for the purposes described in this policy.

7. Sharing of Information

We share information only in these situations:

  • With service providers listed in Section 5, to deliver advertising, analytics and crash reporting.
  • For legal reasons, if required by law, regulation, legal process or a valid government request.
  • To protect rights and safety, to enforce our terms or protect the rights, property or safety of our users or others.

8. Data Security

Data sent by Google's advertising and Firebase SDKs is encrypted in transit using TLS. We take reasonable measures to protect information handled through the App. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Data Retention

Gameplay data stored on your device stays there until you clear the App's data or uninstall the App. Information held by Google (AdMob, Firebase) is retained under Google's own retention practices. Support emails are kept only for as long as needed to resolve your request and for our records.

10. Data Deletion

Syllasphere does not have user accounts and does not store your personal gameplay data on our servers. You can delete locally stored data at any time by clearing the App's storage in your device settings or by uninstalling the App.

To limit data collected by advertising and analytics services, you can reset or delete your Android advertising ID in your device settings. If you would like us to delete any information you sent us (for example, a support email), contact us:

Email: hello@m2apps.co.in

Please include "Data Deletion Request – Syllasphere" in the subject line.

11. Children's Privacy

Syllasphere is a general-audience word puzzle game. It is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us and we will take appropriate action. Because the App shows ads, parents and guardians should supervise the use of the App by minors.

12. Permissions

The App requests only the permissions needed to run and show ads, such as internet access, network state, and access to the Android advertising ID. It does not request access to your contacts, camera, microphone, precise location, or photos and files. If this changes in a future version, we will update this Privacy Policy.

13. Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights over your personal information, such as the right to access, correct or delete it, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to complain to a data protection authority. Users in India may also have rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. To exercise any right, contact us at hello@m2apps.co.in. Because we do not keep a profile of you on our own servers, some requests can be handled only by Google through your Google account and ad settings.

14. International Data Transfers

Google and other service providers may process information in countries other than your own, including countries that may have different data protection laws. By using the App, you understand that your information may be transferred and processed in those locations.

15. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, our service providers or applicable laws change. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page. Please review this page from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
